Ryan Adams on Rolling Stones “Top 100 Albums of the Decade”
Two of Ryan Adams’ albums—“Gold” and “Heartbreaker”—were recently named to Rolling Stones Top 100 Albums of the Decade.
Coming in at No. 81, “Gold” was released in 2001 as his second studio album. In 2002, he received three Grammy nominations for Best Rock Album, Best Male Rock Vocal Performance for “New York, New York,” and Best Male Country Vocal Performance for “Lovesick Blues.”
Adams’ 2000 album “Heartbreaker” came in at No. 38 on the Rolling Stones chart. Heartbreaker, his debut studio album, started the one year/(at least) one album trend that Adams continued until 2008.
